Scratch-a-Scent® and  Touch-a-scent® are 2 of the many applications in fragrance printing Industry. The fragrance card/ leaflet or folder combines the visual and text aura of printed promotional materials with the possibility of being able to test the fragrance ( product ) for oneself. Scratch types is ideal for introducing a new product, combined with the individual fragrance, to large numbers of potential users. 

The power of Touch-a-Scent® lies in the micro-capsules. The perfume oil is contained in a very soft capsule. With a light wipe or a touch of the finger on the applied area, the perfume is immediately and completely released.

         

How does Scratch-a-Scent® and  Touch-a-scent®  work      

Graphic Scents Direct uses transparent micro-capsules with specific fragrances developed using natural products as a base, which can be applied without adverse effects to printed materials. They are protected by a strong, durable and odorless protective layer. With a light scratch of a nail or a touch on the marked area, the capsules break open and the fragrance comes free.

Applications

Scratch-a-Scent® and  Touch-a-scent® are suitable for both small ( sheet-fed/ Silk Screen ) and large issues ( Web-offset ) applications. The fragrance sample is excellent for use as part of a direct-mail campaign, introduction to the retailers, as an insert in magazines, for shelves in shops, or as hand-outs at selling points. The fragrance card or folder is specially effective with introductory  offers or other promotional offers, since the response can be directly measured.          

Graphic Scents has more than 100 standard fragrances in-house. The range consists of flower  fragrances, herbals, fruit fragrances, food aromas and even such aromas as earth, grass, money, leather and new car. For individual commercially promoted fragrances such as, for example, perfumes, deodorants, wash-softeners or air-fresheners, the fragrance-oil is usually provided by the clients themselves. Should a client have a specific wish for a fragrance that is not included in the range, Graphic Scents Direct has the technology to develop a new fragrance.
